    Mohiniyattam is a graceful dance form but I find it is more or less limited to Malayali audience. Why it is not yet having a national and international acceptance among non-keralites just as in the case of Bharatanatyam, Odissi, Kathak and Kuchipudi? Is there any effort is being made in this direction to popularize Mohiniyattam?

ഒരുപാട് പേരായി പറയുന്നു, നാട്യശാസ്ത്രം കൂടുതൽ പഠിക്കാൻ ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നവർക്കായി പ്രധാനപ്പെട്ട ശ്ലോകങ്ങൾ വിശദീകരിച്ച് ബ്ലോഗിൽ എഴുതാമോ എന്ന്. ഒരെളിയ ശ്രമം  നടത്തുന്നു. ഞാനൊരു നാട്യശാസ്ത്ര വിശാരദയൊന്നുമല്ല. ആർത്തിയോടെ ഒരുപാട് തവണ വായിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഓരോതവണ വായിക്കുമ്പോഴും അത്ഭുതപ്പെടുത്തുന്ന ഗ്രൻഥം. പറ്റുന്നതുപോലെ  എഴുതാം.. തെറ്റുക ൾ ചൂണ്ടിക്കാണിക്കണം. പ്രോത്സാഹിപ്പിക്കണം..  നൃത്തവിദ്യാർഥികൾ  നാട്യശാസ്ത്രം പഠിക്കേണ്ടത് വളരെ അത്യാവശ്യമാണെന്നതിൽ തർക്കമില്ല. എന്റെ ഗവേഷണത്തിന്റെ ഭാഗമായി മുംബൈയിലെ നളന്ദ നൃത്ത വിദ്യാലത്തിൽ ചെന്നപ്പോൾ അത്ഭുതപ്പെട്ടുപോയിട്ടുണ്ട്.. അവിടെ നാട്യശാസ്ത്രംവും ഇതിഹാസങ്ങളും നൃത്തവിഭാഗത്തിലെ സിലബസ്സിന്റെ ഭാഗമാണ്. ചൊല്ലിപ്പഠിക്കണം. മോഹിനിയാട്ടത്തിലെ തലമുതിർന്ന ഗുരുകൂടിയായ ഡോ . കനക് റെലെ ഇവ പഠിക്കേണ്ടതിന്റെ ആവശ്യകത വളരെ നേരത്തെ ഉൾക്കൊണ്ടു ബോംബെ സർവകലാശാലയുടെ സിലബസിയിൽ ഉൾപെടുത്തുകയായിരുന്നു.. ഇങ്ങനെയൊരു വഴക്കം എന്തായാലും കേരളത്തിലെ സർവ്വകലാശാലകളിൽ ഇന്ന് നിലവിലില്ല തന്നെ.  നാട്യശാസ്ത്രത്തിലെ ആറാമധ്യായമായ രാസവികല്പത്തിലൂടെ ഒരു യാത്രപോകാം. സമയബന്ധിതമായി തീർക്കാനാകുമോ എ

ഇടയ്ക്ക് വച്ച് നിന്നു പോയ എഴുത്ത് തുടരുന്നു.. Lock down ഇഫക്ട് എന്നുവേണമെങ്കിൽ പറയാം. അത് എന്തെങ്കിലുമാവട്ടെ . എന്നും അത്ഭുതപെടുത്തുന്ന നാട്യശാസ്ത്രെത്തെ പറ്റി തന്നെയാവാം എന്ന് തോന്നി. പറഞ്ഞു കേട്ടതും വായിച്ച് അറിഞ്ഞതുമായ കാര്യങ്ങൾ മാത്രമാണ് ട്ടോ. ഭാഗം 1: ചോദ്യങ്ങളും ഉത്തരങ്ങളും അതാണല്ലോ ഒരു രീതി...🙂 അപ്പോപിന്നെ നമുക്കും അങ്ങനെ ആവാം.. എന്താണ് നാട്യശാസ്ത്രം? ലളിതമായി കേൾക്കുന്ന അല്ലെങ്കിൽ പറയുന്ന ഉത്തരം, നാട്യത്തെ പറ്റി പറയുന്ന മൂല ഗ്രന്ഥം. The Indian text on Drama and dramaturgy😁..etc ഇങ്ങനെ അല്ലാതെ നാട്യം+ ശാസ്ത്രം എന്ന രീതിയിൽ നോക്കാം. നാട്യമെന്നും ശാസ്ത്രമെന്നു ഉള്ള രണ്ടു വാക്കുകൾ കൂടി ചേർന്ന് നാട്യശാസ്ത്രം. ഈ വാക്കുകളിലൂടെ അർഥമാക്കുന്നത് എന്ത്? എന്താണ് നാട്യം? എന്താണ് ശാസ്ത്രം എന്ന് പരിശോധിക്കാം. " ശാസ്ത്രം ഇതി ശാസനോപായം "- ഒരു പ്രത്യേക ശിക്ഷണത്തിന്റെ ഉപകരണമാണ് ശാസ്ത്രം..ഒരു വിഷയത്തെ കൂടുതൽ അറിയാനോ, മനസ്സിലാക്കാനോ, പുന: സൃഷ്ടിക്കാൻ ഒക്കെ ഉപാധിയാക്കുന്നത് ശാസ്ത്രം എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞാലും തെറ്റില്ലെന്ന് തോന്നുന്നു.പ്രയോഗിയ്ക്കേണ്ടതും നിരന്തരം അഭ്യസിക്കേണ്ടതുമാണ് ശാ

I request all the writers and practitioners to correct. You may please keep a copy of these images for your future reference. Because many of the recent editions repeat the same mistake.  So, we have now come to the conclusion that translation of 'Vyavaharamala' is not the earliest known reference about Mohiniyattam. Its translation belongs to AD 1809 (19th Century). The works Goshayathra (by Kalakkath  Kunchan Nambiar  (1705–1770)  and Balarama Bharatham (By  Dharma Raja   Karthika Thirunal Rama Varma  (‘ധര്‍മ്മ രാജ‘ കാര്‍ത്തിക തിരുനാള്‍ രാ‍മവര്‍മ്മ, 1724–1798) that carry references about Mohiniyattam; belong to the 18th century.
