Every art-form in its making or evolution, rather, is greatly inspired by the surrounding world. Mohiniyattam is no exception; the swaying of paddy fields at the gentle breeze, splashing waves of Arabian Sea, Calm rivers, the swinging Coconut palms.. all are visible in the movements of Mohiniyattam.    Mukhachalam is a Sudha Nritta piece that depicts the captivating swaying movements of Mohiniyattam. Mukhachalam is presented as the first or second item in a Mohiniyattam Concert.
